Terms of Use
Draft - pending attorney reviewThis page is a working draft and has not been reviewed by an attorney. It may change.
Draft version 0.1, Oct 26, 2026. Not yet in effect.
1. Who we are and what this site is
ExitTerms is operated by ExitTerms, an independent publisher (“we”, “us”). Legal notices can be sent to contact@exitterms.com. We publish reference information about how subscription services describe cancellation. We do not cancel subscriptions, communicate cancellation requests to providers, or access third-party accounts for you. You must submit any cancellation request through a channel the provider accepts.
2. Using the site
This version has no accounts, purchases or forms. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If we add accounts or paid features, we will ask for your clear agreement at that point and show the version you agree to.
3. Information, not advice
Content is general information from public sources, with the review dates shown. It is not legal advice. Instructions may vary by plan, billing provider, location, and contract. Read the Disclaimer and Methodology.
4. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, ExitTerms and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that information will be complete, current, or applicable to your account. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ExitTerms is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total monetary liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid ExitTerms during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
6. Acceptable use
You may not impersonate another person, interfere with the service, circumvent access controls, access nonpublic systems without authorization, or submit unlawful material. Use of the open dataset is governed by its stated license, and these Terms do not restrict rights that the license expressly grants. See Licensing.
7. Third-party sites
Providers control their own websites, offers, contracts, and services. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. A listing or link does not by itself imply sponsorship or endorsement. This version has no paid advertising or affiliate links. If that changes, they will be labelled where they appear.
8. Copyright and complaints
Provider names, trademarks and the provider’s own words belong to their owners. Our original summaries and documentation are licensed as described on the Licensing page. To report a copyright concern, write to copyright@exitterms.com and include the page address, what you believe is infringing and your contact details. We have not registered a DMCA designated agent.
9. Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, except that you keep protections that applicable law does not permit you to waive. Subject to any mandatory right to another forum, disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts located in California. Either party may use an available small-claims court. These Terms contain no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes apply going forward, and the date and version at the top will change. We will not use a silent update to remove claims that already exist.
11. Contact
